G7 Foreign Ministers Meeting at the Island of Tiberius to Discuss Geopolitics

The G7 foreign ministers went to the isle of Capri, to worship at the altar of war-god Mithra, and perhaps to invoke the spirit of Roman emperor Tiberius, which haunts Capri to this day. This was Tiberius’ refuge, the place from which he ruled Rome, part time from 22 AD, and then full time from 26AD to 37 AD. It was at Capri that “anti-Christ” Tiberius received the news, according to economist Lyndon LaRouche, of the successful execution of Jesus Christ on his orders.[https://larouchepub.com/pr_lar/2002/020329easter_reflect.html]. Thus it was “altogether fitting and proper” that the present-day executioners of Judaeo-Christian civilization would convene there.

Tony Blinken used the opportunity to rally the troops of “empire” around a major pressure campaign to sabotage Russia-China relations. Blinken hopes to bring more pressure to bear from the Europeans to try to break China’s relationship with Russia. He called China’s alleged provision of “critical components” for its war machine “the biggest threat to European security since the end of the Cold War.” “When it comes to Russia’s defense-industrial base, the primary contributor in this moment to that is China,” Blinken said. “We see China sharing machine tools, semiconductors, other dual-use items that have helped Russia rebuild the defense industrial base…. China can’t have it both ways, “ he said. “It can’t afford that. You want to have positive, friendly relations with countries in Europe, and at the same time, you are fueling the biggest threat to European security since the end of the Cold War,” Blinken said.

Blinken was seconded by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, who is clearly trying to undo much of the good that was done by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in repairing the China-Germany relationship during his recent visit to China. “If China openly pursues an ever closer partnership with Russia, which is waging an illegal war against Ukraine, we cannot accept this,” Baerbock said after the meeting. It was unlikely that there was total unanimity on this question, given that there seems to be no mention of this particular matter in the final statement.

Blinken also used the opportunity to make the claim that the US played no role in the recent drone attack by Israel on Iranian facilities in Isfahan, which had just occurred prior to the meeting.
