April 28, 2024 (EIRNS)—In London, U.K., tens of thousands of demonstrators, organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), set off from Parliament Square shortly before 1 p.m. on April 27, and passed through Whitehall before ending at Hyde Park. This included 11 Holocaust survivors protesting Israeli genocide in Palestine.
There have been large Saturday demonstrations in London for months. Elsewhere, in England, since April 19, students from the University of Warwick’s group, Warwick Stands With Palestine have occupied the campus piazza. In Leicester, a protest broke out on April 22 with students from the University of Leicester Palestine Society.
