Report Targets Rwanda as Central to D.R.C. 'Blood Minerals' Smuggling

Last week, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (D.R.C.) struck a blow against the greater NATO/MIFC networks behind the continued effort at destabilization of the mineral-rich nation, with the release of the report, “Blood Minerals—The Laundering of D.R.C.’s 3T Minerals by Rwanda and Private Entities.”

Published in Washington by the D.C.- and London-based law firm Amsterdam & Partners (A&P), the report uniquely focuses on the central role of Rwanda in the illegal processing of the “3T” minerals (tin, tungsten and tantalum), critical to the production of modern electronic devices. The report has greater impact since A&P additionally involved the Paris-based William Bourdon & Associates in its production. Beginning with talks in September, 2023, the 50-page report was released on April 25, 2024.
