Germany’s leading mass tabloid Bildzeitung runs a piece today presenting what it calls Russia’s plan for an invasion of Ukraine in late January/early February 2022. This would, Bildzeitung claims based on unidentified western intelligence sources, an attack by 175,000 Russian soldiers on Ukraine in three stages:
1- landing troops east of Odessa and shelling Ukrainian positions north of Crimea, to conquer the south of Ukraine, including with spetsnaz units;
2- invading the northeast of Ukraine with troops, battle tanks and air forces, to encircle and conquer big cities like Poltawa and Dnipr;
