WHO Medical Aid Going To Northeastern Syria Via Damascus

The World Health organization said in a statement on June 11 that it is senidng 85 tons of medical aid to northeastern Syria in three batches. This shipment will not be coming into Syria via Iraq, which route is now closed to UN humanitarian aid convoys, nor through Turkey, but rather will be passing through Damascus under the control of the Syrian government, reported the Kurdish news service Rudaw.
