COVID-19 Deaths in Ibero-America Surpass Those in North America

COVID-19 deaths in Ibero-America have now surpassed those in North America (meaning Canada and the U.S). According to Reuters, as of July 13 Ibero-America had registered a total of 144,680 deaths, exceeding the 143,847 for North America. The United States is the individual country with the highest number of deaths, with 133,055, followed by Brazil, with 72,100.
