Europe autonews reports that the Daimler (Mercedes Benz), the German producer of luxury automobiles, trucks, and buses wants to cut expenses by 22%, or EU2 billion. CEO Ola Kaellenius made the announcement ahead of a press conference scheduled for today which is expected to yield more details about this biggest cost-cutting attempt in the company’s history.
