According to the Hindustan Times, Prime Minister Narendra Modi “saluted the soldiers of the Indian Army who are deployed in Ladakh,” and told soldiers posted along the Line of Actual Control between India and China that their courage had sent a message to the world. The newspaper reports that Modi said “tales about their valor were being spoken in every house across the country.”
“The enemy has seen your fire and fury,” Modi told the soldiers in an address telecast live from Ladakh to the country.
