U.S.-German Effort To Find Vaccine Against COVID-19

Pfizer (U.S.) and Biontech (Germany) just signed a contract with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Serviceson the delivery of 100 million doses of a vaccine that is being developed by both companies but still has to undergo mass clinical testing. A preliminary test has shown, it is said, that the tentative vaccine has positive effects on strengthening patients’ immunity. Both companies also signed a contract with the British health ministry on the delivery of 30 million doses. BioNtech has a separate, preliminary deal with the German government on the development of a vaccine as well.
