Pompeo's Iran Ploy — Timed To Sabotage the UNGA as Well as the UNSC

Note the timing of Pompeo’s perverse declaration of “snapback” of the Iran sanctions, which, as both China and Russia have warned, could destroy the UN Security Council. Since the 30 days will come up on Sept. 19, and the UN General Assembly begins on Sept. 15, with the speeches of the general debate beginning on Sept. 22, the intended brawl over the U.S. unilateral imposition of sanctions could disrupt the entire UNGA — including emphatically the urgent P5 Summit — as intended.
