Sen. Ron Johnson Begins Subpoenas on FBI's Director Wray, Defends Investigation of Biden Corruption

Today, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, began issuing subpoenas, starting with the FBI’s Director Christopher Wray, for documents on “Crossfire Hurricane.” He indicated that Jonathan Winer would be subpoenaed for testimony. (Winer, from within the State Department, had worked with “former” MI6 agent Steele. He prepared a two-page summary of Steele’s dossier for Victoria Nuland, who worked with Biden in overthrowing the government of Ukraine.) Separately, Johnson also issued an 11-page letter explaining that he has refrained for two months from issuing subpoenas. However, not only has there been foot-dragging, but now the “Democrats have initiated a coordinated disinformation campaign … for the purpose of marginalizing the finding of our investigations….”
