NASA Launches ‘Join Artemis Week’ To Welcome U.S. Children Back to School

NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement declared this week “Join Artemis Week,” making available to students and teachers special classes, discussions and projects aimed at sparking American youth’s interest in the future of space exploration which the Artemis Moon to Mars project has reopened. “Every student is part of the Artemis Generation,” is NASA’s motto.

Among the projects launched this week are:

a “Student Launch Challenge” for middle school through university students “to design, build, test, and launch to at least 3,500 feet above the ground, and land a high-powered amateur rocket;”
