Congressman Adam Schiff is subpoenaing Brian Murphy, a former acting under-secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis, to testify on Sept. 21, as the latest “whistleblower.”
Murphy accuses the Trump Administration of not properly inflaming relations with Russia. He claims that intelligence was modified or suppressed to back up Trump’s public remarks. His official complaint says that he’s “made several protected disclosures between March 2018 and August 2020” about the suppression of the work “of an intelligence program related to Russian efforts to influence and undermine United States interests.”
