The media barrage has begun, playing up disgraced FBI hack Peter Strozk’s new book, “Compromised: Counterintelligence and the Threat of Donald J. Trump,” preparatory to its publication next week, as another prop in the attempt to revive silly “Russia, Russia, Russia” British intelligence lie against President Trump.
Judging by Politico’s lengthy interview with him about his book, Strozk is still burned that the FBI and DOJ did not defend him when President Trump rightly accused Strozk of “treason” for his role in the illegal counterintelligence operation aimed at taking down the sitting President, and let the operation be shut down.
Strozk is itching to get back to the investigation which he and the team of 40-or-so FBI agents under his direction were carrying out for Robert Mueller’s operation between May and August 2017: “rooting through” all Trump’s financial disclosure forms “to identify areas where Russia might have financial leverage over him, not only now but 30 and 40 years ago.”
