Two More Russian Intercepts of NATO Spy Planes

NATO’s probing around Russia’s borders continues unabated. Yesterday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported two intercepts of NATO aircraft, both over the Barents Sea. A MiG-31 intercepted a Norwegian P-3, after three such intercepts last week, while a MiG-29 was scrambled to identify a Royal Air Force Sentinel R.1 intelligence aircraft.
