Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin Exchange Messages on the 75th Anniversary of the End of World War II

China is battening down the hatches, both internationally and domestically, in response to the British-Pompeo led assault against them — emphatically including the attempt to destroy the Belt and Road Initiative as a supposed threat to Western security, as well as the overt military/strategic moves.

Xinhua today reported an exchange of messages between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the WWII victory in the Asia-Pacific theater. “Xi Jinping said Thursday that he is ready to work with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, to join efforts with the international community to resolutely safeguard the victory of the Second World War (WWII) as well as international fairness and justice.… More than 100 million troops and civilians in all countries involved were injured or killed, paying the most painful price in human history, Xi said.”
