Michael Paluszek, who spoke during the Panel 2 on Science/Fusion of the Schiller Institute Conference on Sept. 5, 2020, along with fellow researchers at Princeton Satellite Systems and the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab, have been awarded the 2020 Thomas Edison patent award, for their work on Direct Fusion Drive for space propulsion and power production. Their patent is for a method and apparatus to produce high specific impulse and moderate thrust from a fusion-powered rocket. Paluszek’s presentation was published in the Sept. 18, 2020 issue of EIR.
