Saudi Arabia Rejected From UN Human Rights Council

In secret voting at the United Nations on Tuesday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia failed to receive enough votes to sit on the UN Human Rights Commission. China, which received nearly unanimous yes votes in 2016, still sailed to a comfortable 139 votes out of 193, while Saudi Arabia received only 90, below the 50% margin required for admission.
