Trump to Congress — Pass a Stimulus Bill, Now

Not only is President Donald Trump still functioning as President from his hospital room at Walter Reed, but he is also taking full advantage of the misfortune of becoming a victim of the coronavirus. Using his favorite means of communicating with the American people without the interference of the fake-news press, Trump issued a tweet, directed to the Congress but going through the citizenry: “OUR GREAT USA WANTS & NEEDS STIMULUS. WORK TOGETHER AND GET IT DONE. Thank you!”

This follows the disgusting stunt by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of rejecting the $1.6 trillion stimulus agreed to by President Trump (and also by a bipartisan group of members of Congress), and directing the House Democrats to pass a $2.2 trillion bill, knowing it would not pass the Senate — purely a campaign ploy while giving the finger to the population — and sending the House members home to campaign for the election.
