Turmoil in Philadelphia

Following the police shooting of a man armed with a knife, Philadelphia has seen two nights of demonstrations and looting, which have included at least 11 people being shot. The father of the shooting victim, Walter Wallace, told the press: “I don’t condone violence tearing up the city, looting the stores.” He asked people to stop the violence “to help my son and help my family.” There were at least 91 arrests on Monday night, Oct. 26.
