Approaching midnight: Trump has almost certainly swept the deep South, which the Democrats were hoping to break in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. Trump is ahead in the “Blue Wall” states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, but, as intended, in Pennsylvania and some other states’ vote tallies will be held up by the rules passed by some Democratic run states to count ballots sent in after election day. These are in the millions, so the stage is set for both legal challenges and street violence by the coup plotters.
