Biden on 'Overwhelming Evidence' It’s the Russians

At a Cedar Rapids, Iowa news conference on Ukraine and the “laptop from Hell,” Biden protested: “It’s all smear. Every major outfit, every serious investigator, has pointed out that it’s a smear…. There’s overwhelming evidence from the intelligence community that the Russians are engaged.” In the era of Russiagate, the phrase “overwhelming evidence” is right up there with “bombshell” and “the walls are closing in” as actually meaning “bullshit.”
