With President Donald Trump’s actions against the war party by replacing the top brass at the Pentagon, several of those who were key players in the treasonous coup attempts against the President are beginning to panic that Trump may be successful in his demand that all the Russiagate documents be declassified.
Disgraced former FBI Deputy DIrector Andrew McCabe appeared on Chris Cuomo’s CNN show on Sunday, hoping to dissuade Trump from declassifying the documents by insisting that the information would not only threaten “sources and methods,” but would be bad for Trump himself: “There is some very, very serious, very specific, undeniable intelligence that has not come out that if it were released would risk compromising our access to that sort of information in the future. I think that it would also risk casting the President in a very negative light. Would he have a motivation to release those things? It’s almost incomprehensible to me that he would want that information out. I don’t see how he spins it to his advantage, because quite frankly, I don’t believe it’s flattering.”
Ray McGovern, a former CIA official and now co-founder of the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS), writing in Consortium News on Nov. 13, notes: “Former CIA Director John Brennan is apparently so worried that Donald Trump might release certain classified intelligence that he suggested this week that Vice President Mike Pence and the cabinet remove Trump via the 25th Amendment.
