Having succeeded in creating the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership together with ASEAN, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, China is now considering joining the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). The CPTPP is the free trade deal pasted together after Trump pulled the US out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations.
