The Global Times lead editorial Nov. 13 responds to the Trump Administration giving the OK (presumably) to anti-China fanatics Peter Navaro and Mike Pompeo issuing outrageous attacks on China — Navaro releasing an executive order signed by President Donald Trump banning U.S. investors from investing in or buying shares in 31 major Chinese companies which are supposedly connected to the PLA, and Pompeo saying that Taiwan is not part of China, and that this has been recognized since the Reagan administration — a lie.
The editorial acknowledges that the election is not yet determined, but that “the situation is more favorable to Joe Biden.” It says that even if Biden wins and reverses the Executive Order, “it will make investors feel more risks.”
