Even as we are in the thick of intense battle in the United States to beat back a British-steered theft of the Presidential election, it is crucial to pause for a moment to consider an extraordinary development which reminds us of what is at issue in the global battle. The government of China announced on Nov. 23 that their country has just succeeded in raising the final nine counties in the country out of poverty, achieving their stated goal of ending absolute (extreme) poverty in the country of 1.4 billion by the end of 2020.

As China Daily put it editorially: “Feeding, clothing and sheltering 1.4 billion people is no easy job. But somehow China has managed to do it…. The country has therefore fulfilled its decades-long goal of eliminating absolute poverty.” And Xi Jinping told the G20 summit earlier this week that China has now lifted 700 million people out of poverty over four decades.

This is indeed a stunning achievement – and speaks to what not only the Chinese people, but actually our human species as a whole, is capable of doing, when we put our mind to achieving something.

And China achieved this under the most adverse circumstances: not only a pandemic; not only economic collapse globally; but also intense economic, political and irregular warfare waged against them by the British and by American neo-cons like Pompeo. China has again proven that man is a uniquely-endowed species that is capable of willfully altering his relationship to nature through technological advance, and thereby improving his Potential Relative Population Density – the key physical economic metric established by Lyndon LaRouche’s ground-breaking scientific discoveries in physical economy.

If we set aside the frills and distracting secondary considerations, this is in fact what is at issue in the 2020 U.S. Presidential election. The alternatives are stark. Joe Biden, a representative of the dying Anglo-American Establishment, has been pre-programmed to downshift the world’s physical economy to a carrying capacity of 1 billion people, give or take. This is the most evil Malthusian genocide, coming straight from the British Empire.

Or Donald Trump, who, whatever his shortcomings, is a fighter who has vociferously rejected the Green Malthusian agenda, and would see a thriving American economy in a world of friendly fellow great powers.

As Pope Paul VI is reported to have mused with simplicity, the central issue Man faces is the following: “When there are more heads than hats, some people say it is time to cut off heads. I think,” the Pope countered, “we should just produce more hats.”

So let us celebrate our enormous achievement in eliminating poverty in China, by ensuring that that same concept of man long endures within the United States. And let us also enjoy the special irony that most Americans, and many Chinese as well, will find that assertion profoundly perplexing.
