Nov.28 (EIRNS) — Russia’s Defense Ministry Spokesman, Igor Konashenkov, slammed a recent statement by German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, AKA “AKK", as a schoolboy absurdity.
“Ms. Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer was appointed Germany’s defense minister not so long ago. However, just like her predecessor [Ursula von der Leyen], she demonstrates the inability to offer anything significant that would facilitate real improvement of European security,” he said.
Konashenkov was referring to a statement in the Bundestag by AKK where she said that dialogue with Russia on disarmament should be established “from the position of force.” She could not have been referring to the “force” of the Bundeswehr where a large percentage of its weapons systems are non functional. If she was it would be doubly absurd.
