Have you wondered why Oregon has tolerated mob rule in Portland? Oregon voters approved two ballot measures by a large margin yesterday which together earn the state the sickening distinction of being the first state in the nation to “decriminalize” the personal possession and use of all drugs, including heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, and others to be invented.
Measure 110 mandates that anyone caught with a not-too-large amount of heroin, meth, etc. will have the option of paying a $100 fine or attending new “addiction recovery centers”—the latter financed by tax proceeds from previously legalized marijuana. The Executive Director of George Soros’s Drug Policy Alliance called Measure 110 “arguably the biggest blow to the war on drugs to date.”
Portland’s District Attorney backed the drug legalization measures. So did two other state DAs, the Oregon Nurses Association and the Oregon chapter of the American College of Physicians. Two dozen other state district attorneys denounced Measure 110 as “recklessly decriminaliz[ing] possession of the most dangerous types of drugs (and) will lead to an increase in acceptability of dangerous drugs.” According to Gateway Pundit, Soros’s DPA poured more than $4 million and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and wife a half-million dollars into these measures “legalizing” the drugging of the American people.
