Col. Richard Black (ret.), speaking at the Sept. 5 international conference of the Schiller Institute, addressed the serious threat of a military coup which was in preparation against President Donald Trump. In addition to an outrageous open letter in Defense One by two retired Lt. Colonels calling for CJCS Gen. Mark Milley to prepare to escort President Donald Trump out of the White House by force, and several retired Generals denouncing President Trump’s totally lawful intention to invoke the Insurrection Act to put down the anarchist riots and arson then taking place on the streets of major US cities, Colonel Black added: “Secretary of Defense Mark Esper has an obligation to issue a grave warning against officers, both active and retired, who seek to overthrow the President of the United States using armed force. Those retired officers who have published contemptuous words against the President of the United States should be issued permanent letters of reprimand, cautioning against criminal violations of Article 88, UCMJ. They should be reminded that Article 88 applies to retired officers and that the law was enacted because undermining the authority of the commander-in-chief presents a clear and present danger to the survival of our Republic. The Department of Defense must act resolutely to restore public confidence. Americans deserve assurance that our nation will not be overthrown by a military cabal.” The video of this presentation has been viewed over a half million times around the world. See

General Esper did not follow Colonel Black’s warning concerning his duty to the nation. He not only did not reprimand those generals who attacked the Commander in Chief, but also joined them in opining that Trump did not have the right to invoke the Insurrection Act under the then current circumstances. On Nov. 9, Trump fired Esper. On Nov. 10, three high-ranking Pentagon Officials resigned, clearly in protest.
Willy Wimmer, the former parliamentary secretary in the German Defense Ministry and former vice president of OSCE, took note of Trump’s action, and identified precisely what was at stake: “The Pentagon is preparing for an insurrection” against President Trump, he wrote in Sputnik Deutschland yesterday. The U.S. military, he added, “does not want to see the `license to make war’ taken away from them. But Trump does not want to see his legacy taken away, as the firing of Mr. Esper shows.”
It is also instructive that Trump’s choice to replace Esper, Christopher Miller, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, has quickly filled the posts abandoned by the three officials who resigned in apparent protest of Esper’s firing, by three leading figures in the campaign to expose the “Russia Collusion” operation against Trump to be a fraud, as part of a British Intelligence/Obama-Biden Administration coup attempt against the President (see below).
There is a frantic effort by the Democratic Party and the media to assert that there is no evidence of massive vote fraud in the Nov. 3 election. Most of the 70 million citizens who voted for President Trump don’t swallow it. There is a “million-MAGA” march planned for this Saturday in Washington, D.C. and in cities around the country, to protest the effort to steal the election.
In Georgia, a recount by hand of every vote cast has commenced. The Trump campaign filed an 85-page Federal complaint cataloguing the horror show which took place in Pennsylvania. (See
Helga Zepp-LaRouche, speaking in a Schiller Institute event Tuesday, quoted the “Rütli Oath” from Friedrich Schiller’s famous play Wilhelm Tell, which Schiller wrote based upon his love for the American Revolution and the Declaration of Independence as an inspiration for the entire world: “No, there is a limit to the tyrant’s power.” She added: “That is the message which everybody should carry in themselves in the next period. And I think we need an international mobilization, because the outcome of this fight is not just an American question…. If this fight is lost, I think the whole world will be under a dictatorship, and I think also the Biden team, which would be coming on, stands for war…, that the whole confrontation against Russia and China, the whole expansion of NATO into the Indo-Pacific, the encirclement of Russia and China which has been going on with Bush and Cheney and Obama before, would probably really bring us to a catastrophe. So everything is at stake, and therefore, I think we should take the words of the Declaration of Independence and Friedrich Schiller to heart.”
