Helga Zepp- LaRouche, President of the Schiller Institute, participated in a two-day online International Conference of the Association of Asian Scholars on “Revisiting Gandhi: Peace, Justice and Development.” The conference was held Oct. 30-31, 2020 on the occasion of the celebration of Gandhi’s 150th birthday. Zepp-LaRouche contributed both a longer paper, with the title “Gandhi‘s Vision for a New Paradigm in International Relations, a World Health System and Direct Non-Violent Action in Times of Social Breakdown,” as well as a shorter ten-minute speech followed by Q&A in a panel on “Global Healthcare Challenges & Gandhi.” In her remarks, she was able to present both the idea of a world health system as well as the idea of the Committee for the Coincidence of Opposites.
