A Timely Reminder of Pompeo’s War Against Assange, Snowden, and Intelligence Whistleblowers

There are many indications that President Donald Trump is seriously considering pardoning Julian Assange and Edward Snowden, and thereby delivering a blow to treasonous networks in the intelligence community out to sink the American Republic — but also there is enormous pressure on the President to not deliver such a daring blow.

Count warmonger Mike Pompeo as among the snakes out to sabotage such action. Take a look again at Pompeo’s first public remarks as CIA Director before the Center for Strategic and International Studies, on April 13, 2017. Much about the dirty intelligence community’s coup operations against the President was already known. Pompeo, however, chose to focus his speech on the urgency of taking down key whistleblowers against the Western intelligence community, specifically, Julian Assange, and the WikiLeaks he founded, and Edward Snowden.

Pompeo protested that “we at CIA” don’t understand how people could “celebrate … those who pose very real threats to our country, individuals such as Julian Assange and Edward Snowden…. WikiLeaks walks like a hostile intelligence service and talks like a hostile intelligence service,” he declared. “It is time to call out WikiLeaks for what it really is – a non-state hostile intelligence service often abetted by state actors like Russia,” he charged.

He held up as proof the lie that “Russians hacked the Democratic National Committee and gave the emails to WikiLeaks” which was at the center of the “Russiagate” first phase of the coup against Trump.
