SpacePolicyOnline.com reported a NASA-Canadian Space Agency agreement on Dec. 16 that would include a Canadian astronaut on the Artemis II mission taking four astronauts around the Moon in 2023 — the first Canadian to go beyond low-Earth orbit. The Artemis II will precede the Artemis III mission to land on the Moon the following year. The agreement also involves Canada’s development and installation of a robotic arm on the Lunar Gateway orbital transfer station, and another Canadian on a later mission to the Gateway.
