Israel Looks at Iran and Sees Only Nuclear Weapons

To Israel, the Iranian announcement of going to 20% enrichment is proof positive that Iran is on the path to build a nuclear weapons arsenal, IAEA inspectors be damned. “Iran’s decision to continue violating its commitments, to increase the level of enrichment and advance its abilities to enrich uranium underground cannot be explained in any way other than the continued implementation of its intention to develop a military nuclear program,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared shortly after the Iranian announcement. He further said that “Israel will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons.”

David Albright, president of the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), told the Jerusalem Post that Iran’s breakout time to a bomb could now be as little as six weeks, but that the actual breakout time depends on many variables. Albright was exposed as a liar and fabricator already 10 years ago by former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter.
