Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported by Twitter on Sunday yesterday that his symptoms of COVID are at this point mild. He spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin this morning as scheduled, to discuss overall bilateral relations, AMLO reported afterwards that Putin was “genuinely warm,” that he had invited Putin to visit Mexico, and had thanked him for Russia’s decision to send 24 million doses of the Sputnik V vaccine over the next two months. The Kremlin stated that the two had “discussed in detail the tasks of countering the spread of the coronavirus and ensuring epidemiological safety,” and not only spoke of how the Sputnik V vaccine would be distributed in Mexico, but also of training Mexican medical specialists in Russia.
Unfortunately, López Obrador’s Secretary of Government, Olga Sanchez Cordero, the leading Soros/drug legalization representative in the government, has been designated to replace him at his morning press conferences. She began today’s press conference, however, by stating that she has been given “clear and precise” instructions from the President that she is responsible “solely and exclusively” for reporting on the government’s activities in the morning press conferences. “It is very important to emphasize this point…. There is one President of all Mexicans,” and “he continues in full exercise of his functions,” she stated.
