Biden Nominee for OMB, Neera Tanden, in Trouble as Committee Votes Postponed

The confirmation of Neera Tanden, Joe Biden’s nominee to head the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), is now in trouble, after the Senate’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and Budget committees postponed the vote that was scheduled to take place on her nomination today, prior to going to the Senate floor. According to USA Today, the postponement is due to the fact that Senators say they need more time to discuss the nomination.
