Pelosi Acknowledges Impeachment Is a Show Trial for ‘the Court of Public Opinion’

A reporter asked Nancy Pelosi yesterday at her weekly press conference for her response to Lindsey Graham’s announcement that if the Democrats call witnesses, he will call FBI officials to show the Jan. 6 riot was pre-planned. “Your question is a waste of time,” Pelosi snarled. She also acknowledged that the impeachment was a show-trial when asked why she should proceed since it can not pass. “In the court of public opinion, they will make their case,” she said.​
