Biden Administration Revokes Regulatory Transparency

In a Feb. 8 letter to the White House, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), joined by 20 other Senators, demanded an explanation for Biden’s revocation of Trump’s Executive Order 13891, which required federal agencies to publish and make searchable their guidance documents, which would explain how the agencies would interpret and apply their regulations. The Executive Order had been modeled on the bipartisan Guidance Out Of Darkness (GOOD) Act, which received wide support (including from then-Senator Kamala Harris).
