G7 Statement on Ukraine: Another Gem of Geopolitical Insanity

in a statement issued yesterday and publicized on the State Department website, the foreign ministers of the Group of 7—Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the U.K., the U.S., and the High Representative for foreign policy of the EU—proclaim their steadfast unity in their “condemnation of Russia’s continued actions to undermine Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence,” charging that Russia is destabilizing Ukraine by its actions in Luhansk and Donetsk, and committing all manner of other “crimes.”
