The administration of the Italian region of Campania has signed an agreement with the sovereign wealth fund, Russian Direct Investment Fund to buy the Sputnik V vaccine, authorities made known. The vaccine however won’t be used before approval by EU and national medical authorities. Campania is among the most-populated Italian regions, with almost 6 million inhabitants. It includes cities, Naples, Salerno, Caserta, Avellino and Benevento.
