Lithuania is obviously acting as point man on the European Union’s anti-China campaign by announcing it is suspending participation in the 17+1 group of Central and East European (CEE) countries and China.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis told LRT that cooperation with China has brought the country “almost no benefits": “I am not saying that we are leaving and it’s the end, but we should really consider what is the useful way of building a relationship with China.... Lithuania needs to see what is the best way for Lithuania’s interests to be reflected.
