Lyndon LaRouche, after spending five years in federal prison as a political prisoner, spoke just weeks after his Jan. 26 parole at the 1994 Schiller Institute / ICLC / LaRouche movement conference entitled “LaRouche’s Scientific Discoveries: The Power of Reason.”
During his five years of incarceration, a powerful international outreach campaign was waged to secure his release from prison, including significant outreach into the former Soviet Union. Thousands of elected officials and notable citizens from around the world spoke of the great threat his prosecution posed to the freedom of all people.
