UK’s Imperial Ambitions Stand on “Rotten“ Feet

In an interview with the Solovyov Live YouTube channel on Thursday, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova threw cold water on Great Britain‘s latest Imperial reflex, expanding their nuclear arsenal. “The problem of imperial ambitions has not gone anywhere. There are ambitions, but there is no basis for them. Moreover, unfortunately the basis is rotten,” Zakharova said.
