In a recent CGTN opinion piece, EIR’s Bill Jones ridicules the “genocide” accusations with regard to Chinese policy in Xinjiang, now the official policy of the Biden administration, as utterly ludicrous, and compares the improved conditions of the Uighur minority to the disastrous conditions of the African-American community in the United States or those of the Native American community. And given the economic consequences of the “Green New Deal,” now embraced by the Biden administration, which would drastically lower energy throughput per capita in the United States, he writes, the label of “genocide” for this policy would be quite on the mark.
