Among top management in Germany, there are influential circles that are pushing the Green Party’s Annalena Baerbock for Chancellor. In an opinion poll done for the Wirtschaftswoche weekly, the Civey team found that Baerbock is visibly ahead in ratings, with 26.5%. She is followed at some distance by the Free Democratic Party (FDP) chairman Christian Lindner, with 16.2%. CDU/CSU chancellor candidate Armin Laschet is rated with only 14.3%, and the SPD chairman Olaf Scholz with only 10.5%. However, voters who have no preference are a healthy 32.5%.

The “change” in economic policies which Wirtschaftswoche claims is seen by many top managers as best personified by “newcomer” Baerbock, is one towards the Green Deal and Great Reset, naturally—quite a disaster for the industrial nation of Germany.
