Former Democratic presidential candidate and congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard continued to raise a hue and cry against the danger of war, even nuclear war, releasing earlier today a videotaped message to President Biden, which she posted to her twitter account. Within two hours, her call for a change in course had been seen by tens of thousands. Her message:
“President Biden, we need you to be the president who has the vision and courage to move us into a 21st century of peace and prosperity; ratchet down the new cold war with Russia and China, replacing the policy of confrontation with cooperation so we can work together addressing issues affecting all of humanity, such as nuclear proliferation, climate change, pandemics, terrorism, and human trafficking.
“Mr. President, we need you to be the leader who will stand up against the warmongers who dream of a never-ending, always-escalating cold war to fill their bank accounts and fuel their political ambitions, with complete disregard for the fact that such a new cold war will eventually and inevitably end in a nuclear holocaust.
“President Biden, we need you to end this new cold war before it’s too late.”
