‘30×30 Termination Act’ Filed in Congress To Stop Biden’s Green Executive Order

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) on May 7 filed the “30×30 Termination Act” to nullify Section 216 of Biden’s Jan. 27 Executive Order 14008, which intends to lock up at least 30% of all U.S. lands and water from agriculture and other human use by 2030. There are 20 other backers of the anti-green bill.

The proposed law has provisions, such as banning the use of federal money to implement Biden’s order, and requiring Congressional approval before any significant action could take place. The bill states that in counties which already have 15% or more of its land under federal control, there can be no net loss of non-federal lands to the program.

This latest anti-green initiative comes in the midst of sweeping activation in the farm and Western states against the green agenda. The governors of Nebraska and Missouri are outfront, along with cattlemen, as well as the general rural populations.
