Biden Reportedly Tells Mossad Chief U.S. Is a Long Way from Rejoining Iran Nuclear Deal

When Yossi Cohen, chief of the Israeli Mossad, went to the White House on April 30 to meet with National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, President Biden reportedly took the opportunity to “drop by.” A White House spokesman said the next day that Biden “dropped by to express condolences for the tragedy at Mount Meron,” in reference to the stampede earlier that day at an Orthodox religious festival in Israel that killed 45 people and injured over 150 others. An unnamed senior Israeli official furiously denied that account of Biden’s presence, however.
