Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi is in Cairo at the invitation of his Egyptain counterpart, Sameh Shoukry to discuss bilateral ties between Egypt and Israel. But the visit, as the Jerusalem Post notes, takes place amidst the Egyptian push to make the Israel-Hamas ceasefire more solid. Israel is expected to tell the Egyptians that any agreement should include the return of the bodies of two soldiers believed killed in the 2014 Gaza war as well as the release of two civilians believed to be held by Hamas.
