Kurz Again Offers Vienna as a Venue for the U.S.-Russian Summit

In an April 30 telephone discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz offered Vienna as a venue for a possible Russia-U.S. summit. The two leaders also discussed restoring pre-pandemic volumes of trade, economic cooperation and tourist flows, a representative of the Austrian Chancellor told TASS.

The statement from Vienna reported that “Chancellor Kurz offered Austria as a place for a possible summit between President Joe Biden and President Vladimir Putin.”
