President of the EU Parliament Calls for Regime-Change in Russia

In an interview with Germany’s Funke media group on Sunday, the President of the European Union Parliament David Sassoli called for tightening anti-Russian sanctions. “We have to tighten the sanctions against Russian officials, but also establish closer contacts with the population and civil society and support Russian dissidents, NGOs and independent media,” Sassoli said, in a transparent call for regime-change against President Vladimir Putin.
